I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The room I stayed in was clean and comfy, with a great bed and shower, but it definitely needed some refurbishment. The service was lacking professionalism, with staff being rude and unfriendly. However, the location was excellent for exploring the village, despite the slow shower flow. The dining experience was hit and miss, as the food was cold, but the staff were friendly and provided good service.

My room at the front of the hotel was spotless, with a gorgeous big comfortable bed and a lovely spacious shower with piping hot water. It needed refurbishment with peeling paint on the walls.

The service at the Stables was disappointing. The staff were rude and unprofessional, talking behind each other's backs in front of guests.

The dining experience was a mix of friendly service and cold food. Special thanks to Sam for her sausage breakfast, but the overall temperature of the food was an issue.
Facilities
The hotel offered pet amenities and a welcome drink, but overall, the facilities were average.

The hotel is situated in the center of Betws-y-Coed, making it excellent for exploring the village and its surroundings. The rooms are well-equipped, albeit a bit compact, and the service was genuinely welcoming and accommodating. The dining offerings were satisfying, and the location couldn't be better for enjoying local attractions. However, there were minor disturbances like the TV at breakfast and noise from the fire door.

The room, despite its small size, had everything needed for a comfortable stay after a late evening walk. Eating together as a family in the room may not be the most convenient due to current restrictions.

The hotel offers basic but compact rooms at a very competitive rate. While in need of a complete refurbishment, the top-floor location means a few stairs to climb. The service is absolutely amazing and very helpful, especially during breakfast. The location is compact yet at a competitive rate, situated on the main road through Betws-y-Coed with easy access to shops. The dining experience is delicious and varied, with a delightful selection of dishes.
